Avian Flu: Panic or Pandemic

Influenza is one of man’s oldest foes, killing over 50 million people world wide in 1918, mutating every season it keeps us alert. As humans and animals share the planet more intensively we are sharing more diseases as well. Avian or “bird” flu has taken hundreds of lives primarily in Asia.
